STATE LIBRARY OF OHIO RENEWS AGREEMENT WITH LEARNINGEXPRESS FOR ONLINE EDUCATIONAL AND CAREER RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO ITS 11 MILLION RESIDENTS
License expanded to include interactive computer skills tutorials
New York, NY (July 31, 2008)LearningExpress, LLC, the leading provider of online test preparation, academic and professional skills assessment and skill-building courses, today announced that the State Library of Ohio has renewed its partnership with LearningExpress, LLC to offer LearningExpress Library™ to the state's more than 11 million residents through all of its public, academic, and school libraries. Based on the five-year renewal agreement, library patrons will continue to have unlimited, free access to hundreds of instantly scored online practice tests, interactive skills tutorials, career resources, and e-books from any computer with Internet access. In addition, patrons will now have access to computer skills tutorials for a collection of Microsoft and Adobe software.
The LearningExpress Library™ online learning platform, geared toward both students and adults, helps patrons prepare for a wide range of academic and career-oriented exams as well as to improve basic skills in reading, writing, and math. In addition, job-skills tutorials are available to assist in creating a great resume, honing interviewing techniques, and improving business communications. The innovative platform includes self-paced interactive study, instant scoring and diagnostic feedback, and can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection.
