New York, NY (October 6, 2006)—LearningExpress, LLC today announced Steven Sussman has been appointed Director of Sales, Print Products. Sussman will begin his new position on October 9, 2006, reporting to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Kevin Barrett.

Sussman comes to LearningExpress from Barron's Educational Series, Inc. where he was the national sales manager. He brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, having held sales and managerial roles with Simon & Schuster, Putnam, and Avon. In addition, Sussman played an instrumental role in helping Dorling Kindersley (now DK, a Penguin Putnam imprint) make the transition from packager to publisher in the United States.

In this role, Sussman is charged with growing the LearningExpress book business by working closely with its national distributor, Publisher's Group West (PGW), as well as by identifying new markets.
